The model f the data is pretty straightforward but it's our understanding of how something's actually counted that can be overlooked. And if you have that misunderstanding, or not even misunderstanding, if it's not straightforward understood, clear cut, you know, the visual side is always going to be hard, nearly impossible, to overcome.
