The franchise tag is a one year deal worth the amount of the top five salaries at your position, minus bonus. A lot of players hate it because long term comfort, long term deals, obviously mean more money. Devante adams, though you heard aaron speak about it, does not want a franchise tag. He would like to bget a large contract for the future so that next year he doesn't have to worry about potentially getting injured and being able to get another deal. But will one year, two year deals become the standard for most people anyways? And will the franchise tag hate drop off? Possibly wew.
