A study by richter and colleagues found twice as high diet induce thermogenesis after breakfast versus dinner. The main takeaway was that for most people, eating more calories toward breakfast or early in the day might be preferable compared to shifting more of your calories later in the day. And i mean, the magnitude of the difference when it comes to diet induced thermogenesis, to me, was pretty surprising.
