Dobermans were used to track the scent of an alleged serial killer in Fresno, California. CNN's John Sutter says he had never heard of Doberman pictures being used for forensics. He says dogs are amazing animals when it comes to being able to smell and they do have success in terms of tracking. "They're a tool" that can be valuable but also give you false leads, said Sutter.
