Zalumbo wani is the first albino to be elected to office in africa. He was born during a time when albinism was not understood and seen as a curse. Albinos have very pale skin and fair, often white, hair which means they are at risk of sunburn and skin cancer. Some fathers disowned their children who had albianism claiming they cannot have been the father of an albino. And many albinos didn't get an opportunity to get education. For many, it's a hard life standing out. They face social stigma, discrimination and sometimes much worse. But zalumbo Wani has changed all that with his leadership
