What Are Elphine Waves?

There's waves that exist in plasma thatare not waves we experience in our everyday life. One of them is elpane waves, named for a swedish physicist who won the nobel prize. And so it's known that there are elphine waves around the earth. There's been a hypothesis for a long time that these waves are a part of pushing electrons toward earth and actually causing those trons to produce visible auroras.
