Persia and the Elamites
The elamites are the missing link in our history of persia. As these iranian peoples were moving from the steps into the iranian plateau, they divided themselves up. There was a particular area of this settlement for the persians called anshan or zanshan. And we find constantly in the persepolis archives that the gods worshipped aroundpersepolis tend to be elamite gods rather than persian or iranian gods. How did the vikings become so successful in spreading across northern europe and beyond? What story do you want to tell about them? I'm doctor cat jarman throughout september on iReporters: Vikings
