Michael Heiser's City

Michael Heiser is one of a group of artists who were known for land art. Land art is created by sculpting the earth and rock using graders and explosives. They were inspired by photographs of the earth floating in a sea of black photographs that had been beamed back by the Apollo Space missions in the 1960s. His father was a famous anthropological archaeologist who worked in the Yucatan in Mexico, mapping the ancient Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza.
