The Fundamentals of JavaScript

I think that without having some understanding of the, you can work in React without knowing about the V DOM at all. So again, the fundamental concepts of like, what is the V DOM? Why does it even exist? Why is it needed? We had a few episodes on the fundamentals of React, not the implement, not the specific API details because you can't really do that in a podcast. And we basically kind of listed out those things that you should, or maybe shouldn't need to know. so both what the fundamentals are and what they aren't.
