The Role of Blood Culture in Pneumonia Treatment

I tend to get very few labs in kids with suspected pneumonia. I'm a routinely ordering procal now that it's in house and are you using other types of inflammatory markers as well. In my institution personally we actually do very little testing either for direct bacterial pathogen identification or for viral pathogen identification. And this is great this is also very reassuring that it is rehashing some of the things we talked about in a things we do for no reason high value care episode.
