How to Cope With Emotions When Competing
I had a terrible temper when I was a kid, mainly playing tennis. My mother and my grandmother would constantly be reprimanding me for smashing a racket or building a ball somewhere. It took me a little while to get there, but once I got there, I did try really hard to manage that emotional load that goes with being competitive. Not winning is like someone cut your leg off - it's horrible, but it's part of life. And the more you play, the more you lose, the better you get at it. You've got any advice for me? I'll keep going. It will sink in eventually.
