Manufacturing accounts for about 5% of the Florida economy. It's not like any creates jobs related to it right contractors, developers, repairmen etc. Tourism which is a consumption oriented and serviceoriented economy is enormous. And so it doesn't fall into what Aaron ran in one of the best pieces but it's kind of fell under the radar when it appeared for compact but it's called the red state blues.
