The first eight verses of Romans chapter seven can be really confusing. Joseph Smith is going to try and help us out with these very verses. One of the things I feel like in the Book of Mormon, they never lost sight of what the law of Moses was. They always saw it as pointing to Christ - except for Cherham who argued otherwise.
