Do Dark Leafy Greens Really Help Your Eyes?
I love that your message is so balanced. You also have been a big advocate over the years for the consumption of dark leafy greens. Dark leafy greens, vitamin K, Crotonoids, Zia xanthin, miso xia Xanthin, lutein. These are fabulous nutrients for your retina and for your brain. They're associated with better cognitive performance, better vision. If we don't have all of those dark leafy Greens, we won't have as much lutein,. We'll have more retinal damage, we'll have more visual compromise. So I went back to eating meat and made sure that they were completely eating meat as well.
