Tofasipnib and Methetrexate: A Comparison
The swollen joint count was higher in the tofasipnib group compared with methetrexate group, and that achieved significance. There was no significant difference in ESR and CRP between the groups. The total number of adverse events was 13 in the to fasipnIB group and 21 in the methetrexe group. Five tofas patients developed hypertension. Methetrexate caused GI problems in 12 individuals, which were less frequently observed in the tofasipniber group. Tof asipnib had 5.4% infection compared with 5% methetrexated.
