Biological Evolution via Natural Selection
Evolution is spurred on by contradictions between an organism and its environment. Penguins losing their ability to fly, a bumblebee's ability to see ultraviolet are products of these contradictions. Biological evolution via natural selection is a wholly materialist process. It happens in the natural world and has laws that govern it we can come to know and understand.
