If we do not employ our mind and the senses to accumulate good tendencies and good impressions, they will invariably accumulate bad tendencies and bad samskarAs. There are also other stories, so I shall narrate another interesting incident which demonstrate and illustrate the whole dynamics of what Vedanta is talking about. It is also the story of a small devotee who was born in a pious family but fell on bad companies after some years. When he was about to die, he had already had already established a reputation as a most notorious criminal in the village.
