Ajamila Bhakshyan - The Story of a Devotee

The five senses and mind, all will help us to accumulate good samskaras. That is the Vedantic concept of God. If we do not employ our mind and the senses to accumulate good tendencies and good impressions, they will invariably accumulate bad tendencies and bad samskarAs. There are also other stories, so I shall narrate another interesting incident which demonstrate and illustrate the whole dynamics of what Vedanta is talking about. It is also the story of a small devotee who was born in a pious family but fell on bad companies after some years. When he was about to die, he had already had already established a reputation as a most notorious criminal in the village.
