What Is a Hand-Me-Down?

I think we should explain it to the listeners what a hand-me-down is. They're the clothes that the older one is too big for. But the younger kids are going to wear the same clothes, the older kid wore. And those are hand-Me-downs. I suppose when I had to write my liberal arts studies dissertation, I analyzed the song American Life from Madonna, line by line. It was really fun. My teacher thought it was crazy, but it works.
