Is There a Future for Lab Grown Meat?
I'm quite persuaded by his argument that some point in the next 25 years, lab grown meat will replace plant based meat as the main substitute for animal grown meat. And although there is a lag period while the established infrastructure for food generation has to adjust, the switch will happen and it'll happen fairly quickly once the economics dictate it. It makes me wonder what we will do with all the land in the UK at the moment. I think it's about 70% of the UK's land is used to grow food from animals. Will we just cover it all in trees again?
