The Importance of Orthodox Philosophy in the 20th Century
Russian philosopher Pavel Florensky emigrated to Paris after the Russian Revolution. Vladimir Loske's mystical theology of the Eastern Church is a classic of 20th century Orthodox philosophy. Florofsky too emphasized the importance of approaching God as a person rather than through arid concepts devised in Latin scholasticism.
