Are You Intimidated by Playing in Tournaments?

I find the chess world to be so interesting that we pair young children against you know adults who've been playing a long time and have this competition which is really cool. My daughter loves the idea that she could be as good as adults at something but on the other hand it's a little bit strange because there's just such different levels of maturing experience. I got yelled at for like oh I'm trying to remember what it was exactly by an older adult when I'd still only been playing tournament chess for a little under two years or something like that.
