The History of the Siege of Walusa of Troy
There is an historical basis to the stories that Homer described in The Iliad, there's no question. There are a number of Trojan wars during the late Bronze Age. Troy and the other cities in western Asia Minor were continually at war between 1400 and 1200. Over time, after 1200 and before the 8th century, those stories became modified into a single war lasting 10 years with two primary combatants.
