The categories we even perceive in the world are related to their good. And it's always because I'm looking to rest in a good if I grab a glass is because I think I if I drink it I will find a good there. We see the good in things but then there's a manner in which as soon as that becomes a question of people or others that I see in them reflection of myself I see them as like me. In Dante that's the way that it's presented to us is that Dante and it has to do with love that is love is the thing that draws you towards the good.
