The Problem of Multiple Inheritance in Smalltalk
Pete is parroting brocka and cook in his paperha. But the issue that they bring up is that multiple inheritance, you want it to resolve statically. The way that these older lisp and small talk and other mix in ideas worked was not so static because of multiple inheritance. Because of the before and after, there might be other classes that are injected into your hierarchy that you will encounter as you climb up the chain. And what brocke and cook criticise about the doing it this way is that there's a violation of icapsilation.
