Spanish Mode by Miles Davis
Miles and his band also recorded a cover of the second movement of the Concierto de Aranwez by Joaquin Rodrigo for his sketches of Spain album. This was originally intended as a third part of the title track instead of a separate track on its own, but there wasn't really a way to fit it into that song so it wound up here. To me, this piece feels pretty out of place just because it's so short, because the next shortest song on this whole record is like 11 minutes long. I mean, it's cool, but it's clearly minor and the least noteworthy thing on the album.
