Human cooperation is dependent on a story of who we are and what our purpose is. The most important thing in the stories we tell about ourselves is for them to be generative, inclusive stories rather than closed stories or myths. And that image over there of the thousand armed avalochteshvara, I know if you've been here for some of the other Dharma talks people would have been talking about it.
