The dark tournament arc has loads of these ass pulls but it's still great. A rocky the Magica is known for just coming up with crazy powers and then getting to a point where he's like wow I don't know how they're gonna get out of this one. Aaron activating the rumbling by himself could be feasibly retroactively explained by the end of the anime because we've not gotten there.
