The Law of Extravagance
There is a an understanding in the Muslim community that extravagance is wrong. A lot of wealthy Muslims who want to live very comfortable lives but yet they do pay money in zakar. The prophet was trying to reframe how the Muslims think about wealth and he said your wealth is what you give right. What you give for the sake of a lot is your wealth because you will hold that for eternity. We're planting a seed everywhere that is going to grow and grow and grow both in this life and the next life.
