The Importance of Showing Up

I think I've had to spend a lot of my life cultivating closeness and intimacy and friendship. You know like it's not just like you want it and so you have it. It's that you actually have to show up and make the time in the space. Part of showing up is inviting each other in almost a nosey way into each other's lives. Like just having the confidence to ask how we are.
