I do have a thesis that whatever process becomes the process that dominates your workflow. I think yarn actually got it right because that when I interface with this like we can't hide or ignore the reality that 99% of times I just want to get all the latest dependencies. We knew that we could figure out all the underlying details and retain that sort of power but we also knew that people wanted to quickly share what they're working on so there were some trade-offs along the way. The dashboard isn't like this configuration panel it's a timeline of things that your teammates did yeah what did people do correct and when in fact you've done something wrong.
