How to Talk to Your Kids About Their Surgery
Parents often try to avoid talking to their kids until they have you know certainty and confidence in what they're going to say which is understandable but I think for a lot of children they know when something's going on. Even even two-year-olds are so observant they see you on the phone more, they see you looking more stressed or or you know more tired and they know. So sometimes talking to them earlier and the process can make it less frightening for them to share and to also understand that it's often not one big conversation with your child where you go through everything.
