The Myth of the Gral
The word grail was used for festivals and other festive events that offer great pleasures. In the 14 hundreds, grael increasingly was used to refer to romantic or sexual love,. And gral came to be identified with venusburg, the legendary mountain of venus. The scholar arthur edward calls this the desecration of the grail myth. He puts a heavy value judgment on it.
