Is There a Universal Religion?
Spinoza says religion is not a matter of belief or belonging. It's an attitude towards life that tries to aline your being with the greatest truth, and which is the divine being. Unlike any virtue, it has both an inward and an external aspect. And so for mediaeval thinkers, that's what religion meant. The truly religious aren't just christian ite. Isn't pretty quite like that, but sort of words to that effectad he knows, he knows. Ther's a universal religion, let e more human beings. Yes?
