Is There a Synesthesia Corner?
The song is a banger, but I encourage everyone not to ignore the lyrics because they are hilarious. He's so good with the instruments on the top of the mix like keyboards, guitar, he's a great singer, but the rhythm section is always an afterthought for him. The drums, they skitter and they jump and they just imitate the other instruments and they never stick to one solid rock and roll beat. So it makes his songs a little less cathartic than I could have been. But I really do like this song. I like the swirling melody. And as Rich said, the apocalyptic lyrics are really fun.
