Liberation Theology

Is it fair to say that liberation theology exists solely within Catholicism, or has it spread out and just become a Christian phenomena? It's definitely, it owes a lot to Catholicism, but it would be wrong to say that it's an exclusively Catholic phenomenon. And like I said before, there's lots of different strands. For example, in Brazil, you know, which is a thoroughly Catholic country by the numbers.
