The Power of Prayer in Mormonism
Nemo: There are two things that come to mind in terms of how I was taught spiritual experiences work. The first one is a scripture in the Book of Moroni chapter 10 verse 4, which basically says that if you want to know if anything's true, but specifically the Book of Mormon, you can pray about it. If it's true, a Heavenly Father through the gift of the Holy Ghost will cause really intense strong, warm feelings to come into your heart,. Nemo: You will know that something is true when you pray about it and feel this overwhelming sense of emotion. But for me, Moroni's promise failed, but I was taught that that's how spiritual experiences work
