What Is the Root Mean Square Error?

A study looked at several these equations and basically just you know measuring resting metabolic rate and seeing essentially how close do these equations get. The root mean square error can account for the fact that an equation was a bad predictor whether or not it over or underestimated. It can give us a better idea of generally speaking how off is this thingHow much does that differ from just the absolute value of the average error? I don't know but we just mispronounce everything and we're moving forward.
