Less than one month into their new home experience, the luts family left. Their attorney came forward and said that george and kathleen had made the entire haunting story up after an evening of conversation and a few s of wine. And they made hundreds of thousands of dollars on the rights to that story. The house itself is still around. It was last sold four years ago, february 20, 17, under a new address, which was slightly changed. Same location, different numbers, in a futile attempt to avoid tourists and onlookers from outside.
