The origins of the name are debated. Some say that it's a combination of the words symposium and seminar, while others think it's a play on the words sinners, synthesize or synagogue. Deidric had no more experience in treatment care than those who founded Straight Ink or Wasp House. He believed addiction was not so much an illness that could be cured but a behavioral problem caused by underlying social and psychological issues.
