We Transfer More of Our GDP Than Any Other Country Except France, Germany, Italy, More Than Britain
We transfer more of our gross domestic product than any other country in the world except France. 4 to 1 is well within the contours of what Ben and Jerry did in their own company when they were a valid socialist. We have elevated the average household in the bottom quintile into the American middle class. And we're not getting to the real problem, which is the metal illness and the drug addiction that puts people on the streets living in tents.
