According to local tribal folklore, reports of giant bizarre birds around point pleasant have existed for centuries. These creatures are described as being huge, bodyless heads covered in long hair, sporting sharp claws like nails and fiery red eyes. As opposed to your friendly neighborhood mothman, though, these creatures were also vampires that induced illnesses so they could feast upon the dead.
