Bar Latch in a Hotel Room? Is It Broken?

We've described this bar latch for you before. You can totally lock one of these doors from the outside if you wanted to. This is not high tex security here. Is just not that hard. The problem when there's no way to tell whether it's a screw driver with breaking in the door and leveraging it out, we're going to have to look at what happened on the inside.
