In the 20 first century, so far, just a handful of people died from nuclear accidents around the world. More than one thousand 500 people died in oil and gas extraction in the united states alone. Plant atrillion trees. We should also keep working on developing new modular reactors that have much safer designs. And let me remind you, nuclear power plan produce nearly zero emissions. It is not a choice between half measures now and full measures later when we have the technologies to do so.
