The Importance of Independent Practice in Teaching

A lot of this time, we tend to skip the we do phase or we think that we've done it. We're not actually doing it together. It's just independent practice. But we have the illusion that it's a we do because they're sitting with us. So I guess the difference is like we do isn't all of the students working at the same time on the same thing. The we do is the teacher and the students working together in some way.
