I talked to Stanley McChrystal about this around decision making, and I've seen this a lot of business. Like he said, when he evaluates a leader's decision, it's not the outcome but what they made with the information at that time. So many of these things, if what we did on Tuesday would have bloke just a hero and it doesn't work on Wednesday, then we get a total false sense of doing the right thing or doing the wrong thing.
