Axiom Verge 2

i don't think it starts in a very good place. The character runs round fine in everything, but it feels like it doesn't give you tools right away that make you feel like you're able to advance quickly enough. It does the thing where there's things that are gaited depending on the abilities you have. And then you get an ability that lets you jump more in the water and i was constantly running around the world just trying to find something. I didn't play the first one, so can't really speak t how this relates to that one.
