The Canadian Cervical Spine Rule
The Canadian cervical spine rule is basically three questions, but the first one starts off with, and again, these apply to patients who have had a trauma. These are patients who have sustained some trauma to their head or neck. So that could be anything, you know, a whiplash on a roller coaster, a fall, a motor vehicle accident. And so this patient was 51, but he had a, he didn't have any particular symptoms,. But he had a dangerous mechanism of injury. That immediately is a yes answer for immobilizing the spine and getting a radiograph.
