How to Build a Solution to a Problem

When you're getting customer feedback, customers have a tendency to say what they want in the form of solutions. And as a product manager, it's so easy and so tempting to just be like, "We just need to build X for this" The idea then is you're not really building for a problem. You're building for a solution. So defining the user problem, focusing on user stories is so critical. It helps you think like a user. By going through that user journey, you can better understand the root cause of the problems.
