Rose Abramoff is an earth scientist interested in climate change, land management and forest ecology. She started her career as a forest ecologist, researching fragile and vulnerable forest systems around the world. Rose began protesting with Extinction Rebellion and Scientist Rebellion, leading eventually to her being fired from Oak Ridge National Laboratory late last year. We talk about the different forms of actions that are being taken around the world and the difference in culture surrounding action in Europe and the United States. This leads us to have a fascinating conversation around violence, sabotage, property and citizenship where we discuss the theory behind the political text.
