The Origins of Neutrinos
There's an early warning system for tsunamis where there are detectors of small waves in the ocean that weren't in the Indian Ocean. Nobody knows why muons and tau leptons exist, but nobody knows why there are those extra generations of particles. And neutrino is a kind of particle, like electrons, like quarks, like other kinds of things, just a kind oficle, but it happens to have no electric charge. It has no nuclear charge either, no strong nuclear charge either.
